Eating the same. Moving the same. Gaining weight anyway. That’s not a discipline problem.
Something in your metabolism changed. We find out what, treat it with the same medications hospitals use, and build a plan to discontinue once your metabolism resets.
Find what changed
Baseline labs and a full metabolic workup — so treatment targets the real cause, not a guess.
Treat it properly
GLP-1 medications, dosed and monitored by a physician — the same tools used in a clinical setting.
Build the exit
As your metabolism resets, we taper you down and off — the endpoint most programs never mention.
The same active ingredients as the brands you’ve heard of.
When your evaluation supports treatment, Dr. Miranda prescribes compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide — prepared for you individually by an independent, state-licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy and billed at the pharmacy’s cost, with no markup from Summit.
Compounded Semaglutide
The active ingredient in Ozempic® and Wegovy®. Once-weekly GLP-1, titrated to your response — typically $50–$200/month at pharmacy cost, versus $650–$1,100+ for the branded pens without insurance. Prescribed only if clinically appropriate after your evaluation.
About semaglutide →Compounded Tirzepatide
The active ingredient in Mounjaro® and Zepbound®. A dual GIP/GLP-1 for patients who need it — typically $50–$200/month at pharmacy cost, versus $650–$1,100+ branded without insurance. Prescribed only if clinically appropriate after your evaluation.
About tirzepatide →Compounded medications are not approved or evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality; they are prepared for an individual patient by prescription at an independent, state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy operating under FDA and state board of pharmacy oversight. Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro® and Zepbound® are trademarks of their respective owners; Summit is not affiliated with Novo Nordisk or Eli Lilly. Membership is a flat $149/month — no first-month teaser pricing, and medication is never marked up. If a brand-name product is the better fit for you, that’s what Dr. Miranda prescribes.

Questions, answered.
What does “built to end” actually mean?
Most GLP-1 programs are designed to keep you on medication indefinitely. Summit’s goal is the opposite: reset your metabolism, then taper you down and off. The Maintenance phase exists specifically to help you keep your results without staying on the drug forever.
Who actually treats me?
Dr. Paul Miranda — board-certified in Family Medicine with 20+ years in practice. This is his independent practice, so he personally reviews every application and manages every patient. No queue, no chatbot, no hand-off.
Where is Summit available?
Care is fully virtual for patients in Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Ohio and Washington. Everything — application, labs, visits and follow-ups — happens online.
How is medication billed?
Your monthly membership covers physician care. Medication is billed separately through a compounding pharmacy at your cost. There’s no insurance billing and no surprise claims — you always know what you’re paying.
Is this safe?
The active ingredients we prescribe — semaglutide and tirzepatide — are the same ones in FDA-approved medications like Wegovy® and Zepbound®. Summit typically prescribes compounded versions, prepared for you individually by an independent, state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy operating under FDA and state board of pharmacy oversight; compounded medications themselves are not FDA-approved. And no GLP-1 is right for everyone — which is exactly why a physician screens your history for contraindications, orders baseline labs, and monitors you throughout, rather than shipping a prescription off a form. Whether treatment is appropriate for you is decided during your evaluation.
What are the side effects?
The most common are digestive — nausea, reflux or constipation — usually early and dose-related. A big reason Summit titrates slowly and checks in monthly is to keep side effects manageable and adjust your dose when they aren’t.
I’m already on a GLP-1 or I’ve plateaued — can you help?
Yes. Dr. Miranda will review your current regimen and labs, look at what’s actually stalling progress, and adjust the medication, dose or approach — including a path toward tapering when the time is right.
What’s not included?
The medication itself, which is billed separately at cost through a compounding pharmacy, and anything that requires in-person care. Everything else — physician time, monitoring, dose management and the member apps — is covered by your flat monthly membership.
